Because of you, more than 500,000 Iowans are seeing our "Joe is Right" ad in their newspapers today. Over the holiday weekend, you raised more than $51,000 so we could run this print ad in the seven largest newspapers in Iowa: the Des Moines Register, Cedar Rapids Gazette, Davenport Quad City Times, Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier, Sioux City Journal, Dubuque Telegraph Herald, and Burlington Hawkeye. You are making a real difference in this campaign.

18. Numbers just in from the Biden campaign
I'm sure this is old news, but just got it via email with the focus on Biden's numbers:


This just in: a brand new Rasmussen Reports poll asked voters who they would choose in a general election matchup with Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee and either Rudy Giuliani or Mitt Romney as the Republican nominee. Look at the numbers:

Biden-Giuliani: 40% - 42%
Biden-Romney: 39% - 39%


Here's the kicker: this is essentially the same result the so-called Democratic frontrunners get but they've had months of national press coverage and millions of dollars of TV exposure -- everyone knows them. In this poll, 30% of voters did not yet know enough about Joe to form an opinion.

In other words, Joe already achieves the same results despite having a 30-point name identification gap. But we know that as voters learn more about my brother, his numbers go up. So our mission is clear: educate as many voters as possible about Joe's life and experience before January 3rd.

25. I haven't yet (but then again I haven't seen anybody but my son and husband today)
Biden is doing an education forum at my son's college today so I'm sure we'll see some folks there (the staff has asked my son to help sign folks in and he'll probably get some face-time w/the Senator so he's all excited).

I'll let you know if I hear anything.
