"Clinton trails top 2008 Republicans"/"Hillary beats all Republicans"
Zogby poll shows Clinton trails top 2008 Republicans
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071126/pl_nm/usa_politics_poll_dc

Gallup: Hillary beats all Republicans
http://www.gallup.com/poll/102862/Democratic-Candidates-Look-Good-Latest-2008-Trial-Heats.aspx

Zogby: "The poll of 9,355 people had a margin of error of plus or minus one percentage point. The interactive poll surveys individuals who have registered to take part in online polls."

Gallup: "The poll of 897 registered voters nationwide was conducted Nov. 11-14, 2007."

Registered Zogby online poll takers say one thing, but a national sampling of random voters says something else.

1. The zogby poll is Self-selected--it is a limitation of that poll.

2. what would be interesting
would be to see how those Polled in each instance broke down by gender, age, race, education, etc. I suspect if one is young and male, they're more likely to take part in an online poll but maybe not move their feet and vote whereas if one is older and perhaps female, one is more likely to just get out and vote on Election Day.

3. They are setting us up for another Republican win
And we are too stupid to see it. Look at the significant drop in poll numbers in an extreme short time period. It is BS. The numbers are propaganda--just like everything else about this media. And we are falling for it, because of the divide and conquer.

Everyone is bickering amongst themselves, and actually happy that Clinton has such a poor showing in polls, HAPPY!! The bigger picture is this: while we bicker, they pull the win right out from under us. And it is easier to swallow with the polls behind them.

4. Hillary vs Couric Unique Response to a very good question
The link is here. How do you see it? Looks as though she is daring folks not to vote for her after all the voters do have a say in selecting our nominee, do we not?

7. No, they are setting up for another stolen election.
"America wasn't ready for a woman" -- even if Hillary gets the most votes.
"America wasn't ready for an African-American" -- even if Obama gets the most votes.
"American wasn't ready for ?" -- even if one of other candidates is nominated. It will be a harder sell, but they'll come up with something.

5. The poll posting here.....
I recently did a poll among myself. The question was. Do you believe the rush to post polls, for the most part, is solely dependent upon making one's particular candidate look better than the others? The results were an astounding 100% Yes. This thread, with two opposing poll results, is the exception. Thanks.

9. The zogby poll is bogus. Why? 53 friends across this
country we have in our ittle group and of the 53 only 5 received this polling questionaire. I did not receive one. Now this is strange, but if one looks at some of the questions in the earlier polling by zogby I can see how they could have sent out the email by withholding many that had already named HRC as their candidate. Not hard to do....

10. That's astonishing.
53 friends across this country we have in our little group and of the 53 only 5 received this polling questionnaire. I did not receive one. Now this is strange, but if one looks at some of the questions in the earlier polling by zogby I can see how they could have sent out the email by withholding many that had already named HRC as their candidate.

Astonishing, but entirely believable.

Media Lavishes Attention On Bogus Internet Poll Showing Hillary Losing To Repubs -- And Ignores Reputable Poll Finding Opposite
November 27, 2007 -- 11:03 AM EST // //
---------
Yesterday two polling firms -- Zogby and Gallup -- released surveys of the presidential race that offered strikingly different conclusions. The Zogby poll found that Hillary is trailing five leading GOP candidates in general election matchups. The Gallup Poll, by contrast, found that Hillary, and to a lesser degree Obama, has a slight to sizable lead over the top GOP contenders.

A couple of other things that distinguish these two polls: The Zogby one is an online poll, a notoriously unreliable method, while the Gallup one is a telephone poll. And, as Charles Franklin of Pollster.com observed yesterday, the Zogby poll is completely out of sync with multiple other national polls finding Hillary with a lead over the GOP candidates. The Zogby poll actually found that Mike Huckabee is leading Hillary in a national matchup. The Gallup findings were in line with most other surveys.

Dan Rae, HateTalk RightWingRadio host in Boston ran his whole show on the Zogby poll last night.
