Obama climbs 7 points in three days!!!
Someone posted about Obama falling a few points in 3 days(as though it was the end of Obama.) I thought that it would be fun to post Obama climbing in the polls to counter the idiotic argument that these national polls mean anything.

1. Should we ignore Hillary's approach to Bush numbers, then?
or does the same argument apply?

2. I know i'm not supposed to be excited, because his numbers went
down first and then sprang back, but I'm liking me the trend now, so...Woot woot!!!

9. Wow!! That's the best you've got?
Maybe McClurkin wasn't the end of Obama like so many predicted.

The better question for you is why is Hillary dropping like a rock, while Obama and Edwards are climbing?

5. so do we pay attention to polls
now or not? The constant refrain has been that, with Hillary's numbers up, polls are meaningless this far out, so we're not to pay attention to them. But with Obama's numbers going up we're supposed to take the polls seriously now?

I'm confused.  :eyes:

DU: The Home of Selective Outrage ... and Selective Attention to Polls, too!

6. We don't pay attention to poll specifics just trends!
Anyone who claims that polls are accurate (besides showing trends) are trying to push someone.

8. When HRC Was Ahead Within The Margin Of Error - All We Heard Was......
she was leading in the polls. Nothing was ever said about the margin of error then. Now with Obama overtaking her in Iowa they specifically say that he is leading but within the margin of error.

7. An outlier day probably fell off. Someone diaried about this on Daily Kos
last week as an explanation of why that poll showed a big drop. It appears to be true.

10. Watching the trend is more relevant than snapshot polling.
And the trend for Obama is up.

Gobama.

15. IMO - the trend needs to continue for two weeks
Then the Holiday Rush/Parties hit and the one with the MO wins! Then time to get ready for round two.

18. If Obama's upward trending holds, Hillary can kiss Iowa goodbye.
His message is taking hold.
