If you have been holding out for Al like I have, I think it is finally time to let it go and move in IMHO. If you are like me, I have had a what I believe to be a clear second choice in this race among the announced candidates; a populist that shares many of my progressive views, actually has a legitimate chance of winning the primaries, and will mop up in the general election against any of the buffoons the pukes will serve up.
If we continue to hold out hope for Al into the Spring and as late as the convention like I have heard some suggest, we will likely not end up with our best choice because, let's face it, it is highly unlikely that the race will be undecided by then, and we will have not done much of anything to have a say in how the primaries will turn out. Iowa is only a little more than a month away. It is time to put our support behind the best candidate, when it is most needed, while we can be of help and make a difference, and when it will matter most.
I have decided that it is time for me to get off of the fence and put 100% of my support behind the candidate of my choice.
that is all.
