Poll question: 11-30-2007 DU GD-P straw poll of DU's top six announced candidates
Keep this kicked, in a couple of weeks there will be a DU final four.

Your vote only takes a few seconds, DU it and keep this kicked.

Candidates are listed alphabetically.

4. Despite Kucinkch's statement re Ron Paul, I continue to support his
candidacy. I do so because I agree with his assessment of the current political situation in this country.

21. I did more than waiver - I was for Kucinich but I've moved to Edwards over Ron Paul
It was just soooo . . .weird and dumb to even begin to consider running with Ron Paul, who is the polar opposite of what Kucinich, or more importantly, HIS SUPPORTERS (like me) believe. Ok, Ron Paul is against the war. Swell. Aside from that his stance on every liberal/progressive issue is just horrendous. Why would I vote for someone who even considered making someone like Paul his number 2?

I really loved Kucinich, too. I'm still quite amazed and saddened, but somethings I just cannot get over. I wrote off Richardson permanently when he seemed to excuse Alberto Gonzales soley on the grounds of him (Gonzales) being Hispanic. Again, an episode of such glaring bad judgement that I cannot move beyond it.

24. I have also moved from Dennis
and I had sent him money as well, I am disappointed in him greatly. This time I voted for Edwards although in the fund drive
I used my donor steps to vote for DK.

26. So, if we have to leave Dennis, Edwards is the consensus for e-Kucinich progressives?

28. dunno, but Edwards is the closest one to a progressive
he talks about poverty and talks about the broken system in DC, I agree with much that he says, I think he is the best of
those running if DK is out.

7. It always strikes me as odd how two polls at the same time differ so much between GD and GD-P

11. I'm voting Dennis here
But at the same time realize that Hillary is the chosen one and to that end will probably vote for Edwards as the best Chance to derail her nomination.

22. Interesting to note
Edwards and DK still top DU choices, but Biden has moved into 3rd.

I like DU's "top tier." :hi:

27. Since DU polls are usually inversely proportionate to reality I guess Richardson or Clinton will win
since Richardson is dead last and Clinton is next to last.

Unfortunately for Edwards, I guess this means that he'll be coming in last in the real world, kind of what all polls in mainstream Democratic America are already suggesting anyway.
