Hillary 27.2 Obama 26.8, you'd call that kind of "lead" meaningless and would (rightly) insist that anything could happen with the numbers that close.

12. I have a poll
and I don't think it's any good until I decide to vote in my state's primary.

This entire pooling fiasco is just to give the MSM something to chew on. It's bullshit until the Fatlady sings, and that isn't till the Dem convention.

9. and if it trends the other way
with Obama moving downward I'm sure you'll get back to me with advice about how to ignore the Polls as they're not reliable and not to be believed anyway.

Oh well.

3. The bottom line is the race is likely to be too close to call...
...which means the Caucus will be won by whichever candidate has the best ground game and can actually convert poll supporters into actual voters.

11. Obama is peaking at the right time while Clinton peaked too soon.
Edited on Fri Nov-30-07 07:05 PM by ClarkUSA
The trend lines have been holding steady ever since The Politics of Parsing candidate screwed up at the Philly debate: Obama rising, Clinton falling.

Thanks for the good news, calteacherguy. I look forward to next week's averages, when Obama will be up by 2% or more. ;-)

Barack Obama at today's DNC Fall Meeting:

This party - the party of Jefferson and Jackson; of Roosevelt and Kennedy - has always made the biggest difference in the lives of the American people when we led, not by polls, but by principle; not by calculation, but by conviction; when we summoned the entire nation to a common purpose - a higher purpose. And I run for the Presidency of the United States of America because that's the party America needs us to be right now. A party that doesn't just offer change as a slogan, but real, meaningful change - change that America can believe in.

That's why I'm in this race. I am in this race to tell the corporate lobbyists that their days of setting the agenda in Washington are over. I have done more than any other candidate in this race to take on lobbyists - and won. They have not funded my campaign, they will not get a job in my White House, and they will not drown out the voices of the American people when I am President.
