Dear Candidate! You are no Ronald Reagan!
Remember when someone was trying to pull a trick about who should participate in the debate - in NH, I think - back in 1980? And he thundered: I AM PAYING FOR THIS MICROPHONE! And the others joined.

How disgusting.

2. I am waiting for a lightning to strike me
but, really, how can our candidates just accept the "weeding" of the debate?

3. There has to be weeding
How it should be done, and who should do it, are appropriate subjects for discussion.

Clearly, it's not practical to have everyone who declares himself a candidate for the Democratic nomination participating in the debates. That's why we don't have dozens, or hundreds, of people on the stage as it is.

4. A network or a newspaper should not be the one doing the weeding
I would love to have the top 3 saying: thanks, but no, thanks.

But I can keep dreaming.
