This candidate for the workers!
This candidate for Health Care for All!
This candidate for the little guy and gal.
This candidate supports the military by bringing them home within 10 mths!!!
This candidate is of the people and for the people.
This candidate has had to work his way up the ladder and is self made.
This candidate will not negotiate with the corporations.
This candidate will fight the corporations and give them hell.

My choice for 2008 is John Edwards!!!!!!!!!! An American we can believe in. A man you can trust.

I am glad to finally get that off my chest. Vote Edwards 2008!!!

11. Trust or not, he has the message that Dems NEED!
That will translate into our mandate if he gets elected, whether or not he falls back on promises or not!

All of the rest of the candidates aren't giving us that strong progressive mandate we need, whether you can "trust" them or not, or whether they win or not.

6. Why?
I didn't know being in Iowa was a requirement for voting for John Edwards. I better get on a plane ASAP.

5. Plus!! He's also the most Electable!
I care about Edwards's stand on the issues more, but it's Good to have Electability and the Issues right in the same candidate for a change.

7. I'll Put It Bluntly, Only Clinton or Edwards Could Ever Win An Election
Obama, NEVER in a million years. The problem with Edwards is that he's too easy to stomp on. His image isn't exactly shatter proof. Clinton wins it hands down, but that doesn't mean that if Edwards were to get the nomination, all hope it lost. There is also a VP slot that must be filled as well. I'm just stating the obvious that it's only these two who could even run an election. "Hope" is not a message that one can sell and win an election. This is Edwards' big problem. You aren't going to hear more and more coming out of the Middle East, Bhutto, etc., and again, people are going to dive right behind the candidate with the "experience", and at least reality-based outlook, while the other candidate plays the "change" card. "Change" is looked at as naivety. Washington is Washington. People aren't stupid. You can't go out, clean out the trash, while playing the nice guy. You need someone who's tough as nails, and that is Hillary. Edwards could however hold the VP spot. I just don't see him as having the knowledge and know-how to beat the Right wing smear machine. He does however have at least the number two spot for the nomination, while Barack is DOA, even polling nationally.

and Edwards can't afford the right weaponry.

12. and exactly when will this trusting kick in?
Like, I trust he'd play politics with our military and the lives of millions around the globe? I guess I sort of trust him in that regard..... I'd rather not. As far as following up on his rhetoric, I trust him about as far as I could throw him.... while reclined on the couch as I am now... and a little drunk.... with one arm so I could still type.

19. No more go along to get along! It doesn't work. Our
leaders have been doing that for seven LONG years. I've had enough! I don't care if they could win the battle or not, they should have just been representing the people who put them there!

22. Wow
You support a man that has done nothing for the left, well except for co-sponsoring the deaths of over a million innocent men, women, children and babies.

Name one thing he has done. None of his new rhetoric counts.

He voted to exempt fuel refiners from liability. Now there's a vote against the corporation right there!

O-kay, maybe that one wasn't so good for We, the People and the environment.

But he did vote against regulation of drinking water.

Again, nada for We, the People and the environment.

He did not bother to vote on an Iraq investigation!

Could that be because he co-sponsored and voted for it?

Remember folks, it's not what good you have done for your country, it is all about comes out of your mouth when you are running.

Psst: You best not look at the rest of his voting record, it might cause cognitive dissonance.
