Thoughts on an Obama - Biden Ticket
Besides giveing me a political hard on I believe honestly that this would be the strongest ticket possible. Between Biden and Obama we have the highest tooth count combination of any of the canidates. Nobody could shield themselves from the power of their smiles.
All doubts and fears of 'experience' regarding Obama would disappear with Biden standing at his side. Even though Biden wont get the nomination it is not because anyone dislikes the man. I dont think I've heard a negative comment about him ever. The foreign policy combo would be awe inspiring.
Weather he chooses to be Obamas VP or SoS remains to be seen. I would love to see him as Vp though. Repubs would not come close to touching it.

18. I agree.
Experience at the top of the ticket. President-in-training at the bottom.

2. I'll take Biden-Obama.
That way Obama can be ready to take over when Joe has served two terms...
:)

17. I see you feel strongly about it, however, as a matter of opinion
I feel we should have Biden as president since he has proven experience. Obama can learn so much from Joe.

23. But - the other way around guarantees 16 years of Obama in the WH.

5. I think it would be a winning ticket too, although I think Biden would
prefer to be SoS--just a hunch. He's a "people guy", and would want to travel around putting out fires and putting together deals and negotiations, rather than attend funerals and break ties in the Senate.

6. Biden VP? No way. Biden will be the next Secretary of State.
Otherwise he is more valuable in the Senate.

7. I think with Obama as Biden's VP, THAT would be an unstoppable ticket, for
all the reasons you've mentioned. I stole this analogy from another DUer but Obama/Biden would be like President Robin/VP Batman. The one with the most experience should be in the top slot. And also with this ticket, I think we'd have a lock on the WH for 16 years.

9. Biden/Obama makes much more sense. Why put the top guy in
the second seat? Unless you mean kinda like George and Dick?

If, after Obama's Rovian attempt to steal Biden's caucus support yesterday, Joe holds no grudge.

13. Hell yeah!
The only problem I see with that is that some will say that Biden throws Obama's relative lack of experience into focus. But I think it shows more that Obama has the wisdom to choose great advisers. Obama-Biden is the winning ticket -- the only question is whether Joe would go for it, IMO.

22. With Biden's years of experience & seniority in the Senate
he's never going to take 2nd place on a ticket with Obama. Get real.
