How much revisionist history can we expect out of Hillary tonight?
I'm thinking she's going to say every but that she wanted to lose Iowa. I thought, in this thread, we could post her and her surrogates quotes that fed the "Hillary Will Win in a Walk" meme.

1. Speaking of revisionist history!
"I thought, in this thread, we could post her and her surrogates quotes that fed the "Hillary Will Win in a Walk" meme."

Should be a short thread then.

I am trying to avoid these internecine pissing matches:

Here's a link to IA polls going all the way back to November of 06...I don't think Hillary was ever inevitable there:

19. No, what is bullshit is claiming that Hillary's camp ever said that they'd win in a walk.
The closest you could get is "she's in it to win".

What did you expect him to say? "Oh, Hillary's running, but she wants to lose!"

You guys are too funny.

Gee that seems different that Hillary will win in a walk.
Also that quote was in context of a response to the memo that was leaked saying Hillary should skip Iowa all together

Shocking you would be dishonest :eyes:

5. Agreed.
The "Hillary will win Iowa in a walk" meme certainly wasn't perpetuated by her supporters.

The supporters of her opponents certainly use it a lot, though. I guess they agree with the thought that if you repeat a falsehood often enough, it becomes the truth.

Ya know saying one thing as a quote when there is no actual quote.

"I've maintained that I would vote for him over Hillary depending on the Republican nominee."

As of this time, You would have to write him in then wouldn't you?
