there are millions more who won't. Single-issue voters didn't swing the election in '00 or '04, and they won't in '08. Abortion is far down the list of most important issues for the vast majority of U.S. voters.

It was supposed to be McCain, but he started to seem kind of angry and demented.
Then it was supposed to be Rudy, but he turned out to be carrying some fairly unpleasant baggage.
Then it was supposed to be Frederick of Hollywood, but he wore the wrong kind of shoes and didn't really seem all that interested in the job.
It was never supposed to be Huckabee. He's just not the right kind of Republican, don't you know.
