Poll question: How do we feel about tonight's result?
Taking into account the winners and losers from both parties, are you happy or unhappy about our chances to take back the White House?

BTW, I'm making this a binary poll on purpose.

17. Happy...
Obama is not my first or second choice, but he's likely my third choice of the candidates who have half a chance(I hadn't gotten that far). I'm also glad Edwards did pretty well. I'm sad for Kucinich. I would rather have Obama as President than Hillary, but I would vote for Hillary if she were the chosen Democratic candidate. I'll get behind anyone running on the Dem ticket, because even the worst of our candidates is 10,000 times better than the best the Republicans have to offer.

Would have preferred Edwards to have won, but a relatively close 3-way race will help keep the Dems in the news.

22. Don't "misunderestimate" Huckabee
Though it will still probably be Romney or Guilliani, but the republican machine can get great results with any of those candidates. I think too many DUers live in a bubble and don't realize how (artificially) appealing Huckabee is to people. I mean, he plays in a rock band dude! :eyes:

And yes, I have actually met someone who has decided to support Huckabee for that very reason and heard 3 news interviews of people who have also based their decision on something so asinine.

26. My parents wont vote for Huckabee
They're middle class, middle America, fiscally-conservative, life long Republicans. I believe Huckster would lose by the largest margin in history.

20. Happy Clinton looks to be in 3rd place
I am still undecided, though I like Edwards, Biden and Obama best and in that order. As a non-believer in JesusLand though, I must say some parts of Obama's campaign have bothered me a bit. Not enough to turn me against him, but I would be happier if his campaign turned more secular like the other 2.

But almost anyone other than Sen Clinton winning our nomination makes me very happy, even if it does take away a write in for Segolene Royal. :)

Into momentum in a state where you are polling at 14%...

He's defacto finished...

Hillary is on the ropes as well... but she didn't put all her eggs in the Iowa basket

I was hoping one of the second-tier, and the better tier, imo, would be able to sneak into the top 3. I like Edwards the best of the top-tier and hope he pulls it off.

50. That's precisely how I see it. My first time voter husband didn't even know
Biden and Dodd were candidates until I told him. His response? "But I never hear anyone talking about them but you?!"

Sigh...

He's a new citizen who supports Obama but has been very impressed with Biden even before he knew he was running.
