How much money does Edwards have?
I think he has a good chance, as long as he has money to keep going.

1. I gave him $25

Things aren't as bad as we have been led to believe about his money situation for 2 reasons:

1. huckelberry and mccain have both aggreed to the same matching funds scenario Edwards has. The big money corporate repuke candidates took a severe beating tonight

2. Although Edwards has said he was going for public financing and matching funds, he hasn't actually fully committed to it and could back out of it. He has borrowed against what he was expecting to get, but he has not actually accepted any of the funding.

2. He has enough. Look, 70% voted against HRC tonight. Edwards and Obama will
both do well on Super Tuesday. Let's recalculate then.

6. That's what I'm thinking. Clinton is the one who got shown up badly tonight
Of course, she's got piles of loot, so she might be able to stick this out too.

8. But Clinton has the money to go the distance.....
Edwards can't ever, cause his limits won't allow him to be competitive.

4. He doesn't have enough......even if he would have won.

which was my point here for some time, and the thing that made him most unelectable. He accepted matching funds instead of tapping his personal fortune. That was his mistake this time round.

9. No matter what, he was limited to 50 million till August 29th.....
and I'm sure he's already spent half. He can maybe stand till Nevada, but I doubt it....and then he becomes a rock around our neck....because he will have no money at all left to fight the GOP for 7 months.

Everyone thought that I was crazy when I kept bringing it up....but I did so, because I did the math, and it didn't add up no matter what.

15. thank you for the TP being pushed by the Obama campaign.
"He doesn't have the money" was pushed very strongly by them in the background.

14. I believe he is limited to $50,000 of his own money.
I plan to send Edwards another contribution in the morning. I suspect many others will, too.

Edwards has/will have more than enough to continue in the race through the next month.

17. Because JE accepted public financing from a broken system.
He can't compete financially in the primaries and the general because he did not step up to the plate when it mattered.
