38% is about 16% higher than 32%. In 2004, Kerry, Dean and Gephardt were all major candidates.
For Edwards, he was far better known than he was in 2004.

She kept his numbers down some, and Big Money Obama was steppin' on his shoulders. I thought John Edwards did considerably well for being the only viable "real progressive" running in Iowa.
