How did Huckabee, who helped release a serial rapist from jail, sweep the female vote?
It seems to me that Romney failed to exploit this key fact:

Among females:
Huckabee: 40%
Romney: 24%
Thompson: 10%

5. Female Evangelical Republican vote.
Rape doesn't happen to them--only to the other kind of woman. Besides, the original victim was a shirt-tail relative of Klintoon, so freeing him was the right thing to do.

who was convicted of raping a distant cousin of Bill Clinton, apparently!

I'd say they prefer a Charlie Charm type to a guy who comes from a religion that recently eschewed plural marriage and Fred "If It Moves, I'll Fuck It" Thompson!!

I'm also betting that most of those women were of the pro-life/evangelical persuasion, and they find Mittsy's flip-flopping worrisome.
