Edited on Fri Jan-04-08 12:34 AM by calteacherguy
I really do.

Or should I say "red, white, and blue?"

My opinion, but you know that, I think. What's yours?

16. Well, right now, I'm trying to convince you that your OP could have included more information
that could have been useful to those of us not watching MSNBC. Yours isn't the only vague OP here tonight, but I thought your reply to someone asking for clarification was absolutely ridiculous and rude.

13. That's obviously not what I meant. Jeez!
Why do you say, via MSNBC, that the Republicans have NO ONE?

Seems to me like they picked a winner, although the accuracy of the word "winner" is definitely in doubt when applied to a mook like Hucklebuck...

7. This is why they've clung to the desperate hope of Fred...
...they know that George W. Bush failed them as a "Reaganesque" cowboy. They wanted Reagan so badly that they started to fantasize about Fred being cut from the same cloth. They had issues with Rudy, issues with McCain, issues with Huckabee...the dream ticket at F.R. is Fred Thompson with Duncan Hunter as his VP.

The Freeps are celebrating Hillary's third-place showing in Iowa tonight, but if you listen carefully for the sound of them celebrating their own "victory," it's the sound of one hand clapping.

I posted a thread on DU earlier in which one disillusioned Freep referred to Huckabee as a "RINO nit-wit."

That kind of thing NEVER turns out well.

11. That's the real reason why Huckabee won--the Repubs' other choices were WORSE
Edited on Fri Jan-04-08 12:45 AM by rocknation
The media's going on and on about how the evangelicals pulled it out for him. Hasn't anybody figured out yet that the more fundamental Christians they turn on, the more moderate Christians they turn off?
