3. I don't think Maureen thinks that John is her kind of guy. Not just politically,
I mean.

MoDo is too downtown for The Carolinian.

I used to look forward to her columns. These days it really doesn't matter if I read her or not. John Nichols, E J Dionne, Bob Herbert, Frank Rich, Katha Pollitt -- those folks still command my attention. Dowd, not so much.
