2. I've wondered about security, too.

Obama's a strong black man. We've lost more than our fair share of those. Edwards sounds like Bobby, and we all know what happened to him. I wonder sometimes if that's why Clinton tones down her rhetoric sometimes, if it's because she's worried about seeming to be too powerful a woman.

I hope to goodness they're planning the convention already and getting security set.

If you knew my heart, you'd realize how false your presumptions are. After Obama's victory speech, I could rather easily support him. As if a candle post on DU which a tiny number of people read could ever impact the race. It's rather absurd that anyone thinks it's somehow done to impact the race. It's not my heart nor is such an effect even possible.

But in the minds of the blind conspiracy lives in everything.

I live in the Canadian Arctic. Friday morning, when a bunch of us were sitting around talking and the subject of Iowa came up, one of my co-workers, an Inuit, asked, "So when do you think someone's going to take a shot at him?"
