Rasmussen poll: Paul running 3rd among Repubs. Doesn't bode well
for Gomer, does it.

http://tpmelectioncentral.com/2008/01/rasmussen_poll_obama_takes_big_lead_in_new_hampshire.php

On the Republican side: John McCain 31%, Mitt Romney 26%, Ron Paul 14%, Mike Huckabee 11%, Rudy Giuliani 8%, and Fred Thompson 5%. Two weeks ago it was Romney 31%, McCain 27%, Giuliani 13%, Huckabee 11%, Paul 7%, and Thompson 5%.

3. Looking at their candidates, there is no vision
mccain is endless wars, romney doesn't know who he is, Paul is an isolationist, and huckabee believes the world is still flat

I am surprised but the two candidates that might be able to con people, giuliani and thompson aren't even showing

4. Wonder what it will do to Obama if independents see more of a race on the (r) side. nt

6. The majority of people are against this 'illegal occupation'. It seems
independents also want change judging from Iowa.

8. Right, but will they choose to help Paul? If they do, the candidate
on our side who draws the most independents (Obama, probably) will suffer some because of it.

10. I think if they're serious and examining records, there's no way in
hell the majority vote for Paul. But they have to be curious enough to do the research.

5. Even if McCain wins NH like he did in 2000, I don't see him defeating the Huckster
Mitt has money to go on forever, and some decent poll numbers in other states. Huckster has good numbers in other states. McCain only has NH.

9. Back in my day, we called it a "clusterfuck"
The Republicans have no fucking clue what they're doing this year. They can't run on Dubya's record, they can't run as the agents of change, so all they can do is run in circles.

They could nominate Jeebus Christ Hisself this year and still lose in November.
