40. Maybe. But the pitch of his voice makes all that irrelevant,
as we all know. With that voice, he can't help but seem shrill and catty.

41. Much too passionate and angry.
He's too emotional to be taken seriously as a leader. It would have been better for him to remain cool -- cold, even. We need proof that he won't be controlled by his hormones when he's in the White House.

He was passionate. I was happy to see him finally get some time to get his message across without pundits ignoring him. Now people can judge him and choose him - or not.

And no, I'm not an Edwards supporter. I have no candidate. I support the nominee.

39. His voice is too low-pitched.
You know, men's voices are just too low-pitched and difficult to hear for them to be taken seriously. A woman's voice, on the other hand, is naturally clear as a bell. The only way Edwards can avoid appearing desperate is by staying quiet and letting the women speak!

(Some people just don't get it.)

34. He says "eksetera"
he says it like that all the time. It grates on me about as much as when Bush says noo-kyuh-ler.

You should never use "etcetera" in speech at all, if you can avoid it. But if you do, you should say "et-set-er-a."

You may laugh, but we've had seven years of bad pronunciation. I don't think I could ever take another seven years of it.
