Bill Bradley to Back Barack Obama on Monday
Bill Bradley to Back Barack Obama

January 05, 2008 11:54 PM

ABC News' Karen Travers Reports: Former Sen. Bill Bradley will endorse Sen. Barack Obama in New Hampshire on Monday, ABC News has learned.

A source close to the senator said that he has waited until now to endorse because he wanted to give former Sen. John Edwards a shot in Iowa first.

Bradley is a former Democratic senator from New Jersey and ran for his party's nomination in 2000, losing to former Vice President Al Gore.

A high-level Obama campaign staffer confirmed the endorsement late Saturday night on the condition of anonymity.

7. If one dude can cause you to 're-evaluate'
you were never there to begin with.

Take a better look at all of their positions, proposals, etc. and base your support on who better represents what you believe in -- not just because some basketball playing politician sways your opinion.

11. Hillary has most of the democratic status-quo endorsements in NH, not Obama
But it's great news that Bradley will give him a late endorsement, almost any endorsements are a good thing.

17. If we get away from the Beltway snobbery that experience outside DC doesn't count
we can see that Obama has a solid record of accomplishment in Illinois.

Only the Beltway mentality looks down on us folks that live outside the stratefied air of DC.
