When I saw this video I realized something which I try to explain below.
In this video Stephanie Miller makes fun of Hillary and offers her advise on how to tone down her voice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pK0W_R3Z8YOften when Hillary gets excited or angry some think she simply doesn't "wear" it as well as say Stephanie Miller or perhaps someone like Naomi Klein would. Hillary is in good company though. When Gravel gets angry people make fun of him because to some he comes across as strange. John Kerry had personality problems and seemed stiff to me. Al Gore seemed stiff to a lot of people. Bush Sr. was called a wimp. A lot of people made fun of Richardson tonight but no one got upset with those posters and called them sexist. A lot of candidates have traits that may or may not annoy people and because someone has an annoying trait usually has little to do with gender and more to do with their real personality. Unfortunately for Hillary both Edwards and Obama have very likable personality's with broad appeal. I am not saying it's OK for anyone to make fun of anyone but I think this is more of a personality thing and has little to do with gender though I am sure there are a few out there who are sexist.
Clinton's "angry moment" should not be held against her as she was simply standing up for herself, however the reality is that Hillary can't pull off anger as well as some women. Imagine Meryl Streep or Julia Roberts getting angry in the debate at that moment. They simply would come across awesome! They just have great personality's and the right Mo Jo I guess!
Perhaps Hillary just needs to take that advise Stephanie Miller offers in the above video?
