Barack's my guy but I still love Hillary (I'm a little mad at her now, but in the end I still love her) and I feel John Kass crossed the line with today's column in which he constantly referred to her as "white witch." No matter who you support, this blatantly sexist and potentially racially provocative hit job is just sick.
Clintons dip toes in negative politicsJohn Kass

There's a great political story in New Hampshire: the resurrection of Republican John McCain as he begins his surge toward his party's presidential nomination.
But I think I'm going to stay home. It's cold there, with ice and snow, like C.S. Lewis' Narnia when things were bleak. And now that Hillary Clinton has come in third in Iowa on the Democratic side and Barack Obama has become the official anti-Hillary, there's the big White Witch issue.

The White Witch issue first surfaced more than a month ago, not among Democrats, but on the Republican side, when McCain was campaigning in South Carolina.
"What are we going to do about that White Witch?" a McCain supporter apparently asked him, just about the time McCain was being left for dead by the Republican establishment.
Remember? It was big news.
Maybe she used another word that sounded like witch, but happily my ears are PG.
