I'm so sorry to have to admit this, but I want Richardson to withdraw
I watched the debate last night and he went on and on ad nauseum and took up time that could have been devoted to substantive debate between the three candidates who actually have a shot of going forward.

I want to hear from the people who may eventually get the nomination.

Part of me hates it that I feel this way, but we need to focus.

If he does poorly in NH, then I hope he drops out.

5. I thought he had some good things to say, and he has the best resume
of any of the candidates.

I agree,
his attempts to be all warm and fuzzy during the sniping just didn't do anything for me. Well, at times he was a good buffer between Clinton and Obama/Edwards, but he puts me to sleep.

11. I agree at this point he adds nothing to the debate.
The voters need to be able focus on the three viable candidates. He offered his considerable
experience as his justification for running at past debates. it was not enough for him to move to
top tier. Last night it was just redundant and reduced the time for the three serious candidates.

12. I think he would make a great president
except for one thing. He has no spark, no ability to fire up people. With what is coming down the pike for this country re the debt, climate change, peak oil, etc. the president will need to have the ability to inspire and get the entire country behind him to make the needed changes. He does not have that ability even though his policy stands are wonderful.

If only I could take a bit of this and that from each candidate and build my own...

13. His remarks about experience propped up Hillary (and the Repubs too)
He purposely promoted himself (for VP with Hillary as Pres) at the expense of Edwards and Obama by running them down on lack of experience. My guess is that he will drop out soon if Hillary wins big NH and SC but will stay in longer if she continues slipping so he can help prop her up against the other two.

17. Think he's running for 2nd on the ticket
He really doesn't care who with, he's positioning for Veep. He's the one that can fill the missing experience gaps for the eventual nominee. Actually, HRC would be the one who needs him the least because Hil has the Big Dog by her side.

Agree that in some ways he is distracting, but it won't hurt in the GE to have someone that has gotten this kind of airtime.

18. His ego is the only thing keeping him in the race
I get the feeling he enjoys being one of the final four on the stage. It's good for his ego when he really should get back to New Mexico and do the job he was elected to do.
