Bill Nelson is amazing. He still does not understand why the candidates won't campaign here.

Florida isn't Rudy's territory, Nelson says

Rudy Giuliani may be banking on his strength in Florida to deliver him the Republican nomination, but Florida's top Democrat, Sen. Bill Nelson, sees little to worry about in Florida if Giuliani does win the nomination.

"He doesn't look like a president. He doesn't talk like a president, and he doesn't act like a president," said Nelson, who added that Mitt Romney may look the part but also fails to act the part. And John McCain? "He's the toughest of the crop," said Nelson. "The only one of the Republican candidates that really can win in November, that has a chance to win in November, is John McCain."

Okay, so for once I agree...Rudy and Romney are not good candidates.

He talks about the fact that he was supposedly to endorse Hillary Clinton, but now he is hedging his bets apparently.

Buzz hears no indication that any of the Democrats are considering breaking the boycott of Florida's Jan. 29 primary, but Nelson said he'll be surprised if some don't hit Florida, at least after South Carolina's Jan. 26 Democratic primary. He dismissed the widely held view that he's sure to endorse Hillary Clinton. "Clearly the nominee is going to need Florida in November, so I'm going to wait and see how they treat us in the meantime," Nelson said.

Interesting.

Wonder if Bill is still as angry as he was a few months ago.

I hope not.

1. Good Gawd...can't you floridians get rid of this imposter...
Bill Nelson, and his clone in the midwest, are right in line to be the nation's next Zell Miller or Joe Lieberman.

He is a blot on your landscape and full of so much swamp gas that he ought to be able to fly places without a plane.

C'mon guys...get rid of the flake.

2. Hint: except for southeast Florida, the rest of the state is
redneck city - and all they hear on radio and Imean every station way before Orlando and then NOrth is rabid right wing talk radio - clones of Flush limbo -
if Giuliani thinks he's going to win Florida he's in for a big surprise - and there's no way Hillary or Obama would take Florida either,
