Is Hillary-Obama the Lieberman-Lamont race all over again?
This race is starting to remind me of the Lieberman-Lamont primary. Lieberman never understood what he was up against. He eventually got angry, but he lost. He got a second chance in the end. This race seems to be headed in the same direction, though I'm not convinced Hillary will get a 2nd chance.

1. No, because in the end, Lamont lost.

2. Lamont won the primary. Lieberman changed parties to run.
In fact he made up his own party.

Lamont "will have accomplished more in defeat than most campaigns do in victory."

He was no loser. Lieberman won because of Republicans.

3. I really wish it WAS like the Lieberman-Lamont race.
Because when Hillary got her ass kicked and then ran as an "independent", it would be funny as Hell to see all the Hillbots flip-flopping on whether you should be able to advocate for third-party candidates on DU.

4. If anyone's Lamont, it's Edwards.

Funny how you knocked him out of the race, again.

Why don't we remember who campaigned in person for Lamont and gave him a hug, oh yeah , John Edwards

5. I don't see either Obama or Hillary going independent
That is the big difference.
