First NH votes are in!
Edited on Tue Jan-08-08 05:10 AM by wlucinda

"New Hampshire voters started casting ballots at midnight in the state's first-in-the-nation presidential primary, as the top contenders scrambled to nail down supporters among a notoriously independent electorate. Citizens have gone to the polls in two small towns, favoring Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama."

"Sen. Hillary Clinton drew no votes among the 10 Democrats casting ballots in Dixville Notch, a hamlet of about 75 people near the Canadian border."

"In Hart's Location, population 42, Obama received nine votes, Clinton three and Edwards one, The Associated Press reported. On the GOP side, McCain received six, Mike Huckabee five, Ron Paul four and Romney one."

2. Dixville is so lovely. Like another world.
I love it when they come in so early. I am so hoping we will not have another Bush/Clinton deal. You know I would vote for her, as I am sure she would be a good President, but I am so sick of the same old people in the WH and Congress. The country needs to move on.
