Looks like what John King is saying on cnn
Obama taking the west, Clinton taking the south. What does that mean, votewise - can the west outvote the south?

1. No, population is in the south and east. Dean took western half in 2004.
Eastern/Southern is more DLC-friendly apparently.

According to a diagram that King showed earlier. Most of the votes are in the southeast part of the state.
