2. Greater or larger? 36 is a great number, the greatest. It is divisible by so many numbers.

Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 03:04 PM by physioex
Big deal we had two states have their say. Last I checked we had 48 other....

On Edit: Sorry, the JE support was out of line. I wouldn't have celebrated so quickly myself.

11. The margin of error is ZERO
A vote is not a poll. There is no sampling error because there is no sampling.

7. e = mc squared, so they are equal
energy is equal to mass x the speed of light

where Obama has the light of hope and that is faster than regular light. Hillary only has regular light. Therefore,

E (obama) = mass(36% votes) x hope light
E (HIllary) = mass(38% votes) x regular light

SO trust me they are tied right now

10. all bets off in electoral math!
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 03:07 PM by JoeIsOneOfUs
Wasn't the point that for delegates 39% = 36% because they get the same # of delegates?

Kind of like in Iowa if x < 0.15, then x = 0, bearing in mind y < or = (y + x) .....

17. Cute. Big problem though.
Percentages don't mean anything. A candidate wins the nomination by accumulating enough delegates. Both Clinton and Obama received 9 delegates yesterday, thus they tied.
