What I saw in N.H.
What I saw waws a bunch of Democrats a little worried about the republican suupport tha Obama is getting, and came out to make sure that a democrat won the election.( Let me make this statement first, I an FOR JOHN EDWARD but my second choice is Hillary), I hear about all the republican ind. votes that Obama is getting and when he speaks some time he sounds as if he is addressing republican instead of Denocrats. I hear all the Unity junk and bi partisian and I know one thing the republicans aren't going bipartisian unless it is the republican way or the hway for the democrats, and that is what I am seeing in Obama... I have thought from the beginning that he was getting too much Republican suport to please me. There was bipartisian support in this country during the years 1930's to the 1950's but it wasn't through a President, it was between the Moderate Republican Congresssmena & Senators in the North and the Conservative Democrats in the South,

2. Sure, OK. We don't need those Indies and Repubs to win--and the
fact that a man with a solidly progressive voting record was able to attract them, well--who the fuck cares? Let's run with the John Kerry again. Good move. I'm not sure whether I'm going to laugh or cry when she loses in November--all I can say is, what's Bloomberg up to?

3. Hmm, so it's bad to get Republicans to see the light and vote Democratic?
No wonder the Democratic Party has declined in recent decades. Even the supreme mess made by the Bushistas won't hurt the GOP if Dems think this way.

6. Republicans vote as Democrats to swing votes the way they are told. They did it
to Cynthia McKinney and bragged about it.

7. Can a Dem win in November without Indy/Repub support?
Somehow, I doubt that.

8. On the issues, I don't see a big difference between Hillary and Obama.
They're both Washington insiders. Both senators. Both have a lot of money from corporations. Both are far more conservative than I am. Both have often supported Bush's wars in their votes. Neither is talking about seriously shaking up the system or going after the corporations.

I'll vote for whomever gets the Democratic nomination, but I really think it is stupid of Obama's supporters and Hillary's supporters to throw mud at one another's candidates. They're actually very similar.

The candidates I would like to see elected have dropped out or are being ignored by the media. Edwards has far better positions on corporations, healthcare, and many other issues than either Obama or Hillary, but he's being ignored. It's too bad.

9. Great let's only get the 35% of the public who self identify as Democrats.
That's a sure way to victory. We finally have a progressive who can win over Republicans. Its a good thing.
