Pssst, Take a look at Edwards...
...who is at 17%. He sure isn't Hilliary or Obama. You know what else he isn't-a fringe candidate. There is a reason he hit 17% nationally and higher here among the politically aware. My guess is it has to do with opposition to corporations exploiting a lack of oversight to personally screw every person in this country without a stock portfolio and most of the middle class with one. So while any democrat would be an improvement, I would like to ask you look into Edwards or grow one more nipple on your udder for the corporations upcoming moves.

1. It would help if you provided a link
and sorry, I can't trust someone with his record, despite his rhetoric.

20. You can't judge a book by it's cover.
And you can't judge a decision unless you know everything relating to that decision. What I trust is that he has spent his entire life helping the less fortunate. Judge THAT!

6. Link (poll of polls)
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/us/democratic_presidential_nomination-191.html#polls

Clinton 37, Obama 30, Edwards 18

This means on Super Tuesday all three will win delegates. This will not be over until the convention if all three stay in and no one gets a majority of delegates.

3. Edwards is losing because
he lacks the charisma of Barack Obama or the newsworthiness of Hillary Clinton. He has faded into the backlight.
It had to happen - only one can win.

7. Newsworthiness? Faded into the backlight?
I think what you're trying to say is that the corporate-owned media has been doing the best they can to convince their viewers that Edwards doesn't really even exist. They would much rather shove corporate Queen Hillary down out throats.

8. Actually, what he lacks is cash and media coverage...
I feel he HAS charisma and that so far Hilliary's (and Barrack's) "newsworthiness" is based on either genetalia (or melatonin). While I would support either as the democratic candidate, I feel that if justice where truly blindfolded, Edwards would be the most democratic pick.

return the country to We, The People, instead of the corporations.

27. That is just not the point I was making, please.
I realize all the candidates have strong points. But the bottom line is, only one of them can make it all the way. The primary process is meant to propel the one who can rise above the others and WIN THE ELECTION, not the one you particularly like the best.
The POTUS is really only one person. Alone, they can do nothing -- they have to have a network of others to help. I could go on, but why bother. You just want to be difficult.

31. It's not just about what *I* like best, it's about what's best for the country!
Don't make this a personal issue--- I haven't stated my personal views.

We can't afford to let this nation be run into the ground any further with corporate string-pulling in the background. Yes, those with corporate backing "rise above the others" because they've been PUSHED by the seats of power, but that doesn't make them best for the nation.

"The POTUS is really only one person."

Oh, I dunno.... FDR did a hell of a lot, it seems to me.

"Alone, they can do nothing -- "

My one "personal" note---the candidate I'm backing says exactly that!

"You just want to be difficult"

Oh, I see. I got clear to the end before I got to your sweet dismissal.

So much for "we're all in this together", eh?

16. Yeah, GE and Halliburton made Edwards go all out in Iowa and come in 2nd,
damn near third. Warner Bros and Microsoft made him not put any money into any other state. Ford made him abandon South Carolina, the only state he won in 2004, and THAT is why he is a distant 3rd there.

Come on people. Edwards is great, but the all about Iowa strategy failed. He is done.

21. Watching Edwards go down the toilet isn't very compelling either
Watching Hillary benefit from Obama and Edwards splitting the rest of the vote is downright painful.
I was an Edwards supporter, and I would like to bring truth to these discussions. Deal with it.

Who are you, GOD? Do you own a crystal ball that tells you the future? "I was an Edwards supporter"...you were never an Edwards supporter - if you were, you wouldn't be poking your finger on positive Edwards threads like a bad smell.

I don't blame Edwards for going all in to Iowa, but it didn't work out. There is no reason for me to stick my head in the sand about it. See you around.

24. Guess you have that crystal ball -
you must have been looking into all the meetings Edwards has had with his staff ... as for sticking my head in the sand, I will continue to support Edwards and do not feel the need to switch based on "who's likable at the moment" - I have been a supporter since 2003 and his vision fits more with my ideals than the others. And HE CAME in Second - Like Obama just did. There are 48 more states to go.

25. So encourage your candidate Obama to drop out
He had all the media hype, over $100 million, and even a double digit lead leading up to New Hampshire and blew it. Maybe HE, not Edwards, should drop out and give Edwards a chance to see what he can do as the alternative to Hillary.
