Congratulations, Bill Richardson. And Thank You.
You ran an honest and positive campaign, and would've made a fantastic President.
You were right when you said 2013 Is Too Late.

If only the Iraq War mattered more to our party, I'm certain you would've been more successful.

12. He's staying as Governor. He doesn't have any interest in the Senate.
He promised New Mexico.

13. There's talk he may go for Bingaman's seat once Bingaman retires.
Richardson is term-limited as governor, so he'll be looking for something else in 2010--assuming, of course, that he's hasn't already got something else.

5. I'm extremely dissapointed he didn't fare better.
He was my first choice and I really like what he's done for our state. I'm throwing my support to Edwards now but I wish Richardson was still in the race.

8. I personally asked him to run.
I ran into him while he was walking into Mama Mia in NY a couple years ago. He was going in through the back door on 7th Ave. I recognized him and asked him to run for president. He asked me if I would support him. I said sure and he shook my hand.

I am severely disappointed at the kind of candidate he turned out to be. He was passionless, and irrelevant. It's shocking considering his resume.
