Rasmussen daily graph for 1/11/08 - Clinton up 1, Obama and Edwards unchanged
Boy, big things are going to happen tomorrow! I betcha! Maybe. Or not.

(These graphs are all contained on one Web page at http://www.dvorkin.com/rastrack.html)

(Pretend that the 10 and 20 lines are actually 0. Does anyone know how to make Excel label different parts of the axis differently?)

1. Polls mean nothing. NH proved that. What better way to manipulate
an election than to have everyone believe up front that scientific polls
are inaccurate. You can make the actual results be anything you want
them to be.

2. Exactly.
They were wrong by 16 percentage points in NH. They predicted Obama with 10% more votes and wound up with Hillary at 6%.

3. Not even close.
They predicted Obama up 8% and he lost by 3%.

5. Good work, David....
Folks, polls do NOT predict elections. They are snapshots in time.....blah...blah...blah...blah....

6. Thanks. I intend to continue
despite the manipulative meaninglessness of polls because I like seeing the pretty colors on my graphs.
