Why Support Edwards?
Earlier, the Edwards people would answer every Kucinich post with the monotonous answer that he was not electable.

It is now apparent that Edwards is not electable, why not support Kucinich?

A vote for Kucinich is a vote against the war in Iraq, a vote for single payer health care and a vote for cutting the military budget.

If these are your issues, there is no reason anymore to vote for Edwards.

1. 'It is now apparent that Edwards is not electable'
Well, that ended that consideration.

2. It's apparent that he's unelectable?
Didn't know that! Thanks for filling me in!

Anyway, I'm supporting my candidate until he's no longer running.

3. Because you've bought so deeply into his dead campaign that cognitive dissonance
refuses to allow you to objectively analyze the situation?

6. Edwards is still electable. He's got 18 delegates to Clinton's 24 and Obama's 25.
While it's near impossible he'll win the nomination, I'm still holding out hope.

I respect Dennis, but he's not my candidate.

John Edwards is.

7. What? "If these are your issues, there is no reason anymore to vote for Edwards"?
How do you figure that?

Oh and "Edwards is not electable"?

8. Here's a good reason: Lobbyists are scared shitless of him.

"Ask corporate lobbyists which presidential contender is most feared by their clients and the answer is almost always the same -- Democrat John Edwards."

13. DK isn't my candidate
While I agree with him on some items, I do not agree with him on others.

I have been with Edwards since the beginning of the summer (see link in sig) and I am not backing away now.

14. Why Support Edwards?
To help Hillary win.

Same tactic Bill used to win the national election in 92 with a minority of votes due to Ross Perot.

Im not saying the Clintons got Edwards to run for this reason, but its not beyond belief to think they arent willing to take advantage of the situation to beat Obama by splitting the majority of Dem votes that dont want Hillary as the nominee.
