exactly how many total delegates are there ? 4049. So if Edwards can effectively lock up 1350 delegates...what happens then ?

We need to know what deal Obama cut with Bloomberg back on Nov 29.

Obama meets Bloomberg after Harlem fundraiser

According to A Man Bound, Shelby Steele's book, Obama will have to get specific soon, and then the wheels fall off the cart for 'bargainers'.

4. So far Edwards has 18, Hillary has 24 and Obama has 25.
Those of us who support Edwards really want to watch him and hear what he has to say. He holds the fire under the feet of the other two candidates. Edwards is the key player in this primary regardless of the delegate or vote counts. The other two react to Edwards' ideas and language. Edwards is alive. He is not playing to the tune of advisers and pundits. He is himself. He knows who he represents. He knows he is their voice and that his voice is being heard. Edwards is such a refreshing candidate. I've been active in politics for years. I am so impressed by Edwards.

Hillary and Obama each have their vulnerabilities. They are just riding above the scandals -- just far enough ahead of the scandals about who they have received favors and campaign money from to fool large swathes of the public. Edwards isn't playing that game. We will see who finishes on top of it all. The honest one or the other two.

5. Back on Nov 29 Obama visited Bloomberg. Waddaya think that was all about ?
If Bloomberg jumps in AFTER Edwards leaves the race, then I think the GOP candidate has a better shot at the Oval Office. If Edwards refuses to leave the race, then Edwards himself has a shot as an independent, even if Bloomberg is in the race.

8. You keep posting this misinformation. Hillary has 183, Obama 78. Check Delegate ScoreCard.
I know you will say but...but... they include superdelegates. I say they still count toward the total. That's the way it is and has been since the reforms of '72.

10. But since superdelegates can change their mind at the drop of a hat, those numbers are useless.

9. What deal did Obama cut with Bloomberg ?
Think back to 1992. Clinton vs. Bush. It was a blowout, for Clinton. Then Perot enters...Clinton only won the election with a plurality. What do you see setting itself up right now ? Bloomberg's going to enter the minute he sees a clear winner in the Democratic nomination.

I'm glad Edwards is around to screw Obama's plan up if it is indeed to assist corporatist interests. By the way, when Obama and Bloomberg had lunch (Bloomberg is a billioinaire btw), Obama picked up the tab.

Again, wtf did Obama's deal consist of ?

14. I still don't see any realistic possible explanations and you fail to provide them.
I'm not saying nothing suspect occurred. But so far you're essentially saying "because they met and one person paid, it's conspiracy time."
