Please, get your e-mail addresses ready and send NBC
a massive notification that WE, THE PEOPLE, expect equal and fair debating opportunities on Tuesday night.

With only 3 candidates to share the floor, there should be plenty of time for ALL of them to express their views.

The coverage has been so unbalanced to date that I am enraged. I'm sure all of you, no matter who you support, have been boiling at the one sided air time.

The race for President is not about race, gender or religion. It is about the wisdom and skill of the person running for office.

We need a chance to fairly assess these qualities.....and I am angry that the media is in control of the whole thing.

Come on, DUers, get those e-mails rolling.

1. If you want to get through to them - all Dems should not watch NBC MSNBC, CNBC - INCLUDING OLBERMAN
Edited on Sat Jan-12-08 10:40 AM by higher class
I'm serious. GENBC thinks they have won Dems over because of Olberman. SHOW THEM. Want to make a worthwhile pledge - pledge to turn them off. Yes, including Russert and sports, serials - everything. It is easier than you think. Especially if you have already elminated FOX.

Everyone should know that powere to be have already selected the Dem candidate, but there is still time to fight them. Let's not gripe for the next five years about what was done to us. Let's do something now.

Pledge to yourself. No donations required. Just an e-mail to GE NBC to tell them and then follow through if they don't reverse this decision.

It is much easier than you think and you will feel good about yourself. I can attest to that.

2. Please see my posts on the impact of the Kucinich exclusion on Edwards,
which is not good, and what Edwards can and should do about it.

Edwards need to support Kucinich's challenge of the NH count, as prep for challenge of the SC count (which has an even worse voting system--in fact, THE worst). And he needs to get Kucinich back into the debates to talk about it. He needs to pressure the networks to include Kucinich. Dennis doesn't have a chance to win, because they've blackballed him. But he is a powerful speaker, and, with the one-two punch of Kucinich and Edwards on our totally fucked voting system, maybe we can get it changed for remaining primaries and for November. SC's system REALLY needs to be taken to court. No paper trail - completely unverifiable. Edwards is expecting to get boost in his home state, but the dark lords can and will end his campaign there, if he doesn't challenge the voting system.
