Clinton and Obama have charm and are experiencing an historic run.....
The novelty of their candidacy is what captured the voters in Iowa and NH.

Novelty is the word that explains why people could not decide which candidate to vote for....the choice was overwhelming and the voters sensed the eyes of the world were on their state....and the excitement of making history ruled the day.

Novelty is why some people changed candidates more than they change their under ware. The power of voting for two good candidates who happen to be a women or a person of color is so exciting that it makes the head spin...and so that explains the dizzy back and forth. Edwards, being the best candidate, knows all he had to do in the early states was stay viable, and he accomplished that objective.

But it is the message of John Edwards that will endure.....and at the end of this process, as each state unfolds, we will see the novelty and charm wear off and voters turn to the power of the Edwards message and his enduring vow to stand up and stand for the working class, the underclass the union households, the uninsured, the voiceless.

It is John Edwards who will be left standing, because he has not spent his entire working life in politics, he is not an insider, he is not the darling of the media, the big corporations that he beat in the court room, want to see him finished off, and he has way too much grit and refuses to distance himself from his working class upbringing.

It is a mistake to write him off.
