Edwards in SC offers the politics of hope, policy and not personal destruction and distraction

Stumping in his native state, Edwards railed against multibillion-dollar corporations, predatory lenders and Washington lobbyists.

"I have fought them, fought them, beat them, beat them, beat them, beat them, over and over again," he said, referring to both his political and legal careers.

"He was electrifying and exciting and offers a lot of hope for people," said Nora Kresch, of Beaufort. "I think he's the most viable candidate on the Democratic side."

Steven Bibaud, of Hilton Head Island, said he was inspired by Edwards.

1. I don't know. Since Obama and Clinton are making it about race

Their two campaigns will probably implode on themselves leaving Edwards the only one standing.
