37. I worked in voter protection in Ohio in 2004 & 2006
and yes I feel weird about Hillary being President .... 32 years of a bush
or Clinton in power (36 if she wins a second term) is too much.

As for Unions .... no I have never been a member but I was damn proud to go
to school @ Ohio U. with many Union kids from Ohio & Pa and saw first hand
how unions had helped many families and communities.

I have also worked with local unions on political jobs a few times .... Pipefitters.
IBEW, and Steel Workers.

But please answer me about Mark Penn and his anti union work. BTW Hillary was
on the Board of Wal Mart a company w/ a history of anti union actions.

What I failed to do .... (hindsight is 100%) .... has bothered me every day.

I failed to do some things but we are all up against a major crime wave that
was covered up and backed up by a dirty or lazy media.

In 2006 I was much more effective .... even though race I was working with
lost by a strange last second surge.

Let me get my aluminum baseball bat and beat on my computer for trying to control things I have no control over. I guess you didn't read my other posts, you know, the one regarding my support of the NOMINEE?

Good for you and the work you do. If you don't like her, stay home and let your vote not be counted.

19. I think the "bashers"...
...should stay in the sunlight.

It's important that a warmongering, corrupted Democrat be given as
much sunlight as possible.

I'll bash her policies and her corruption any day. I don't like a
pro-war princess in my party, any more than I liked it when Joe
Lieberman voted the exact same way that Hillary does.

Do you like war?

I mean...Hillary toes the BushCo war line. Is it ok that your candidate
does this?

32. What's the big deal about staying home?
If Hillary is our nominee...we'll have a pro-war candidate to my left...and a pro-war
candidate on my right.

My vote will be meaningless because both candidates will provide a seamless transition
from the Bush Administration and their neocon agenda.

War will be expanded no matter what I do.

For the first time in my entire life, I'll stay home, yes--and I'll do it with a heavy heart.

52. Oh, yes, there'd be absolutely, completely no difference between Hillary Clinton...
...and one of the Republicans candidates when it comes to health care, shifting some of the tax burden back to the rich, getting to the bottom of a lot that's being hidden while Bush has been in power, appointing Federal judges, global warming, alternative energy research, and other environmental issues, enforcing worker safety and product safety, mending diplomatic fences with foreign countries...

Yeah, with such a total lack of difference you might as well just stay home and bask in your ideological purity. :eyes:

Obama's house is an issue for you, but Hillary following the neocon playbook isn't?

How do you reconcile that she went to war with Iraq, knowing damn well that the neocons
had asked her husband for the same war in 1998? She knew they were using 9/11 to
get a foothold in the Middle East, and this was something they wanted to do for years.

That's ok with you, but Obama's house is a serious point of contention for you?

Hillary's Kyl/Lieberman vote that defined Iran as a "terrorist organization" was a
big favor to George Bush. Iran is next on the neocon wish list. Hillary just provided
them with a marketing plank toward that goal.

Obama's house stirs your conscience, but warmongering doesn't?

and Obama votes to keep funding the war, even though he promised not to. He also supported a provision similar to Kyl-Lieberman (before he was absent for the vote) and has discussed missile strikes on Iran and Pakistan.

I'm anti-war the same as you are, but be consistent and even-handed or your criticisms have little merit.

I think this deletion stuff is completely arbitrary and totally bogus. I know others think the moderation is good, and I have no doubt they do their best; Skinner is one of the more reasonable progressives I have known. But neither she nor others can make a system of content censorship work fairly.

Here's an example where something apparently worth seeing got bumped

You would think, that during that "35 years of experience" that she would have managed
to "find her voice".

She didn't "find her voice".

She found a new campaign strategy when "I'm Hillary. I'm inevitable...and you'll damn well like it" failed
miserably.

26. In her NH post-election speech...
...Hillary said she finally "found her voice in New Hampshire".

That line was her way of saying that the "real Hillary" finally
surfaced.

I call it Hillary Jesse Raphael. She's into your pain. She's
got a microphone, and she's on fire with empathy.

(Note, this new sensitive and smiling side of Hillary demands
that you ignore her warmongering and her pro-neocon votes of the
past).

Kind of like Bill, circa 1992 -- "I feel your...pain."

After hearing her NH speech, I wondered about that signature line and was thinking maybe it was a "gender thing" that I (as a male) didn't "get." I don't think it works. Too ego-driven, first person.

Whatever...I'm looking forward to see how long she can keep up the Emotive Hillary routine.
