I have an idea
Why don't Hillary and Obama drop out and save the dem party? The way this whole "war" is going, the party is going to suffer big time. Looks like it could divide the party in fact, instead of uniting it. How can what is happening help the party let alone this country? Do they think that this kind of poltics is what change is all about?

Why don't the two of them stand up and tell their camps to "lay" off all the crap and just run on the issues? Do they not have faith that they can explain how they are the "better" candidate to bring change to this country? Are they afraid to address the "real" issues, and bring their case for being our leader to the people?

If they can't stop this childish fighting back and forth, I think they should do what is best for the party, and drop out!

Anyone with me?

1. Um...I think you have an ulterior motive, judging by your avatar.

2. We all have ulterior motives...
This battle is getting pretty damn vicious now, though. It's not helping us.

3. Oh, we're just seeing it through the magnifying glass/funhouse mirror of DU.
You want inter-party viciousness? Look at McCain versus Bush in 2000...

...and then, for further, partisan viciousness...Gore versus Bush in November...and then Kerry versus Bush in 2004...

This is nothing.

5. I think it's going to be NOTHING compared to what the GOP have in store for the winner...
...and that's all. Wasn't trying to minimize anything.

8. Not really
I read a post here today about the stink in NH where Obama's camp is claiming Hillary's camp sent out e-mails that lied, and they tried to supress the vote for him. The post had an article about how many Obama supporters are "not" going to support Hillary is she wins the nomination, and the same for Hillary supporters not supporting Obama.

The problem I worry about is this is going to be used big time by the republicans, and it could cost big time in the general. I want to see a dem in the whitehouse, what about you?

6. Well to be honest
I do think Edwards is the best candidate, but I also see this "war" between Hillary and Obama camps as bad for the party, don't you? How can this help to bring people together as a party?
