The Clinton hate is strong as ever out there...check this out!
CNN's political ticker have several top stories for today and the first one is about Clinton campaign advisor getting arrested for DWI while up in New Hampshire.

See here---> http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/01/12/clinton-advisor-charged-with-dwi/#comments

The next story is about Bush stating the apporval rating for Bush and the Iraq war remains low.

See here---->http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/01/12/poll-approval-of-war-in-iraq-bush-remain-low/

Take a guess which article has close to 200 comments and the other with just a little over 30?

3. People just flat out don't like Hillary
If you don't support her, odds are you just don't like her.

I'm telling you people Hillary has no shot at winning the GE. It's sad. I'm going to get railed on for saying that but it's the absolute truth. Most won't realize it until it's too late.

10. Hillary is one point apart from Obama, who is one point apart from McCain
A statistical dead heat in a poll with an error margin of 3%. Only a Clintonista would refer to Hillary's "lead" as beating or smashing anyone.

8. i got a freeper email today
I am on some guy's dist list that I knew in high school; he doesn't know I turned hippy, I guess. I generally look at it and delete it. Much of it refers to "libruls" having their heads in the sand w/respect to threats.

Anyway, it is about a supposed "contest" to pick a name for the Clinton's house. Lots of yucks about lame (and some sort of good) puns all on the theme of Bill's blowjob and lying about it. I won't waste energy on listing them - the "winner" was "Disgraceland"

I was in a mood, I suppose, so here is how I responded to his full distribution list:

After seven years of savaging of our civil rights, lying, pillaging the treasury to make Halliburton rich, etc., etc., why do people still find satisfaction in hammering Clinton for his peccadilloes? What is the sad desperation that causes people, faced with the absolute dissolution of the entire Republican Party, who can’t even find a candidate who is not an embarrassment, to bother to spend time flogging this dead horse? How many administration flacks and congresspeople have resigned in disgrace; how many have gone to jail, since this sad episode? How can people continue to refuse to accept that the intentional exposure of a covert op that was working directly on the issue of WMD, specifically nuclear capability, in Iran in order to discredit someone who was correctly contradicting the phony evidence being used to get us into a new war distracting us from the pursuit of the 9/11 perps in Afghanistan/Pakistan was not complete is nothing, that we should ignore the coverup by top administration officials, but continue to giggle and smirk over this? Now the administration is trying to hype up an excuse to attack Iran, claiming a nuclear threat that we don’t know much about, since the covert op got scrapped, once again ignoring the more critical issues in Pakistan, and people don’t say “wait, this guy has fucked up and lied about it so many times he probably doesn’t know his real name by now” – they prefer to snicker about Clinton’s blowjob.

Who, exactly, has their heads in the sand? Morons.

Just my $.02

The run-on and convoluted sentences are intentional; I hope I make some heads explode trying to follow them. :rofl:

This is not a non sequitor; I am not hijacking the thread. My point is that despite my lamentations as to the idiocy thereof, there are still plenty of folks out there just clinton-bashing like crazy, and it is not going away. They really DON'T acknowledge anything I wrote, or if they do they dismiss it with "but Clinton got a blowjob."

Disregarding all the efforts that were made to get dirt on Hillary and Bill through legal, if persecutory means, such as whitewater, there were also rumors rampant that no doubt still circulate of all manner of trumped-up crap. That it is without a shred of foundation is immaterial; it IS evidence of this particular community of hatemongers predilection for believing anything negative, the worse the better, about the Clintons.

14. I don't give a damn what hateful people say about Hillary!!
It only makes me work harder for her. Today was a great day, we had a good photo-op session with one of the top NJ newspapers and a good volunteer turnout.

BTW, most of the volunteers were people under 30, just to show that Obama is not the only one who has youth appeal. One guy said that he has been making an average of 500 calls a day in a 12 hour period, I was duly impressed!! Our campaign office (there are several in the state) is adding more phone banks and they'll be up and running by Wed.

On Monday, Gov. Corzine and Sen. Menendez will be in Hoboken to announce a surprise endorsement.

NJ is Clinton country and we're working hard to keep it that way, we are not taking anyone's vote for granted!!!
