Poll question: Dean and Clark supporters (2004) who do you support now?
Hi
I know i have a low post count, but I have been hanging around for quite some time. I was here before and during the 2004 primaries. Then it seemed the heated debate was between Dean and Clark supporters, now it seems that the most heated debate is between the Clinton and Obama supporters with the Edwards supporters tired of being ignored. Based on that, I am curious how those supporters split this time between the top 3 candidates. This is truly just a curiosity question.

1. Clarkie for Edwards here.
I wish Wes would have run but since he and Gore decided to sit it out I'm for Edwards.

5. Do we still teach grammar? "Who do you support now?"
I am afraid to ask the educational level of the OP...

8. Most people regardless of education do not use whom
that's just the way it is. It's really too bad we don't TEACH grammar and sentence diagramming in schools anymore.

But then that would mean 'Every Child Gets Ahead.' :eyes:

9. I loved diagramming sentences in high school.
It has been quite a while since then. I'm afraid I've gotten a little sloppy.

10. Yes, grammar is "boring".
Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 03:08 AM by Hart2008
I still remember the thrill of learning the proper use of "who" and "whom".
:boring:

It is funnier when someone who is ignorant of the rules for predicate nominatives usage with the verb "to be" tries to act sophisticated. "Whom are you supporting?", makes me chuckle!
:dunce:

14. In 2004, the big fights on the net were between the...
Kucinich and Dean supporters.

They literally tore up any posting board they got onto.

19. Dean in 2004, Kucinich now
Edwards would get my vote in the General, Hillary would not.

Obama.... I'm questioning more and more by the minute with all the DLC endorsements. This cancer must be cut out of this party now, and for all of Obama's talk of "uniting" he seems to be reaching out to a lot of right wing extremists, but nobody in the DEMOCRATIC wing of the party. And I find that very troubling.

I wouldn't characterize what's happening now as debate. It more like flinging poo.

22. Dean/Gore/Obama
Supported Dean, and still think he would have at least energized the people against Bush, even if he had lost the General. Gore's a visionary, and I tried to draft him. Obama-I've taken a second look at him and like what I see.
