Hillary and Bill Clinton's remarks have nothing to do with racism.
They are simply trying to win a primary. Having said that, here is a piece about Clinton's statement when it originated :

Does anyone have a link to Obama making a statement related to Hillary's comment on or around this date?

I found this article, which was written a few days after her comments:

ABC News' Eloise Harper and Sunlen Miller report: Sen. Hillary Clinton told reporters for the first time that she believes Sen. Barack Obama's campaign is distorting what she said about Martin Luther King.

Her comments have created a lot of heat for Clinton in the African American community. When asked who is distorting her words, Clinton said, “I think it clearly came from Sen. Obama’s campaign.”

Hillary has been making that claim, and she made it again today: Clinton: Obama camp is 'distorting' her remarks

Can someone produce the distortion of Hillary's remarks by Obama, a link to an actual comment in the time frame before she made her claim?
