I'm a Hillary supporter and I plan on voting for Obama should he win the nomination
And from what I've seen here, most Hillary Clinton supporters here agree with me.

And I plan on stressing that every time I see some flamebait, bullshit post from an Obama supporter proclaiming how they will never vote for Hillary in the general.

1. We're all going to vote for our Party's nominee, I Hope.
Any Democrat would be better than any Republican, by far.

14. Which is why you're sane and rational
not to mention smart and thoughtful.

You get what's at stake.

5. Same here
I don't consider myself a Hillary supporter per se, though I did vote for her in the NH primary, I would gladly vote for Obama in the GE. Just two days ago I sent $100 to BOTH Obama & Hillary. I support Democrats. I mostly voted for Hillary in NH due to the media and DU bashing her unmercifully - it just pissed me off.

6. This is why I hate primaries
They fan the flames of internal party tensions.

Fortunately, assuming this is all settled in February, there will be many months left to repair the damage.

8. I'm an Obama supporter and I've written dozens of times that
I'll vote for Clinton if she's the nominee- and I've seen Clinton supporters claim they won't vote for Obama if he is. It works both ways.

13. Today I counted 11 who said they wouldn't vote for Clinton in the GE
I thought one person said they wouldn't vote for Obama, but they changed their mind. I'm sure there are people who wouldn't vote for Obama in the GE - I just didn't see any here today. Hillary bashing is WAY more popular here based on my hidden post tally.

18. Yes you have
that's very true.

But the volume of OP's disagreeing with your sentiment betrays a basic lack of understanding of what we're all fighting for here.

9. I am a democrat and I plan for voting for whomever my party cares
to throw at me. Maybe I'm a bit too utilitarian in my views, but I sincerely believe ANY democrat would be preferable to ANY republican. Does that make me a spineless unprincipled shill who's willing to whore out my vote to anyone with a (D) after their name? Possibly, but I am a spineless unprincipled shill who believes even an incremental change from bushco. era policies is more important to the country, the planet and the rest of the world than my preferences, beliefs or principles any day...just saying:)

10. I'm an Obama supporter, and I will vote for Hillary if she is the Dem nominee
I will vote for the Dem nominee no matter who it is. But until such time as the nominee is decided, I will keep fighting to help my candidate win.

12. I know a lot of Republicans who will also vote Obama if he's the nominee
But none of them will crossover if Hillary is the nominee.

Same goes for moderate independants I know.

(We lose most Republicans and some independants if we nominate Edwards, but its still a net gain over Hillary.)

Our party needs to consider how to appeal to enough voters if we want to win in November, and that depends to a large part on who our nominee is.

Something we seem to overlook as we cheer one candidate over another.

15. I will gladly vote for Clinton if she is the nominee
I'm not too excited about her, and I'm sure that some of her supporters feel the same about Obama. But compared to tripling guantanamo, nuking Iran, and teaching that Jesus rode a dinosaur and the world is 6000 years old in schools, it's pretty much a no brainer.

19. Edwards supporter but I will vote for our nominee
I support the party far more then any one person or nominee. I don't want more republicans in office, its our turn :) If you won't support the nominee then you are not really loyal to the party.

25. I'm an Edwards supporter but I plan to vote for whoever is the nominee
To not do so, is a form of suicide (unless one is planning to leave the country and doesn't care that Repukes get voted in again).
