Pay attention Boston Globe: John Edwards is in the running.
In the paper today, I saw hardly a mention of his name. Page after page of political coverage. Where is your coverage of Edwards? Tonight when I get back from work, I'll look again. Maybe I missed a sentence or two.

This will backfire on you. I know he is not the candidate you endorsed but that aspect is supposed to be separate of news coverage.

Maybe I'll start a "cancel your Globe" drive around here. Perhaps a bumper sticker. I want to hear about Edwards and you are not really telling me anything. Why should I continue to waste my money?
Your paper should be bringing us the news as it is, not as you want us to see it.

1. As an Edwards supporter I agree that the Globe and media are giving
less press to Edwards than they should, but I did wish he had stayed out of the Obama/Clinton feud. I think both of them look bad and Edwards would be better off keeping quiet as undecided Dems tire of Obama/Clinton.

3. Yet somehow they find the space and ink to continue running the Jacoby tales.

4. This is the story in ALL the media. And it's working!
I've been very annoyed with this also, but recently I noticed in some polls where they did low income and middle income voters. That's where Edwards has aimed his campaign for support. And it has remained quite low, and far behind Obama and Clinton. So it can be seen how this monopolized media has kept the masses in check. It's pretty hard to get your message out when you're invisible!

6. The impact isn't as great in a primary
where its less about who wins and more about delegate counts. If this were the GE, I would be more concerned.

Edwars is in it until the end and he's accumulating delegates along the way. The campaign is just now moving into his areas of strength - the south and midwest. As DNC chair Howard Dean said, this contest isn't going to be finished by Feb. 5, its a long way to Denver and nothing is inevitable.
