This reminds me of Dean and Gephardt in Iowa four years ago.

22. It sounds like something Edwards-haters would say...
but that person seemed to be saying that it was Edwards supporters who were using it... ?

Can you perhaps please shed any light on this?

24. It's a criticism of the MSM and party leadership over their ignoring
of JE's campaign. A reminder that there is a third option, a Progressive Democrat.

4. That would be great.
Go Edwards.

We would all benefit if Edwards was given credibility with a 1st place finish.

6. People want something different. Something not yesterday. Edwards could win if he stays above it.
The tit for tat of the other two is so yesterday.

11. at this point, it has more to do with the press than with
anything else.

Edwards is really very vunerable having taken matching funds. He's not a great alternate choice for me....no matter how much he has been cannonized.

16. That's the Clinton strategy.
Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 03:34 PM by Radical Activist
She knows how to win by division and using voter disgust. Anyone who has seen the movie Our Brand is Crisis about what Carville's firm does will see the same strategy at work here.

Clinton's negatives are too high to win a majority in a two way race so she needs to make sure Edwards stays in the race.

19. I hope he does.
I think he's moved the debate a couple of notches to the left (through the primaries, anyway), and I think it'd be great if he stuck around a few more weeks.

28. Yes indeed. All eyes on Nevada, as Edwards acts Presidential while HC & BO melt down
into a pit of petty pissing matches ... just in time for Super Tuesday .. hee-hee.

29. Edwards remains -- cool, calm, collected
He comments honestly on events and issues, but he does not start a fight. I believe him when he says his father taught him "Never start a fight, but never run away from one either." That's good advice. We need a president who has learned that lesson.

I think all three top tier have major flaws but I do like Edwards the best of them even though I disagree with him on many issues.

I'd gladly vote for him in a general election.
