http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/south_carolina/election_2008_south_carolina_democratic_primary

Both Hillary and Obama have over 80% favorables among African Americans(86% for Obama 82% for Clinton) and high favorables among all Democratic voters. 80% favorability for Clinton among all Democrats compared to 77% for Obama, essentially the same.

Hater mongers be on alert, your efforts are failing and will continue to fail.

2. Good news. Not much change at all.
I suspect that most "average" voters aren't really paying much attention yet.

Actually, I *hope* that they aren't! :)

5. That or they're far more intelligent and reserved than we give them credit
for being. They seem to see right through all the bullshit on this one.

But a few minutes in GDP turns me into the thing from hell.

11. My apologies: Edwards has a similar 74% favorability rating.
The overwhelming bulk of the controversy today is centered around Hillary and Obama though.

8. Quite True, Sir
The vast majority of Democrats like all our leading candidates this year, and that is not going to change....

If we can get through this bump alright then we must be in good shape.

15. There's no growing acrimony in the party-- just among...
a few assholes on Internet boards stupid enough to fall for a good troll.

All the clothes-rending and teeth-gnashing that was fueled by battles in congress... and you really think this is just about the primaries?

Sorry but yeah... as far as candidate support goes, sure.

But negatives for congress aren't based on trolls...

18. How much of that was in the real world? Politicians are...
acting like they always do-- as politicans, and most of the public is little more than slightly amused by it all. Maybe even slightly pissed, but there's no blood in the streets like there was back in the 60s.

All the heated battling is online and amongst the esteemed punditry-- and therefore irrelevant.

20. It was in the real world first. Those negatives aren't from online polls.
No, people won't go spill blood in the streets over what they perceive as nothing more than a charade.

19. So it seems that rather than blacks/whites hating each other, they're voting for what they see
as the better of two good options. That's the best news I've heard all day.

21. That's not really what I got out of that. Their support is approximately equal.
That's like saying a football team that beat another one by a field goal kicked its ass.

22. Um...yeah. I don't see how that conflicts.
Blacks and whites both think both candidates are good options, and are voting for the one they prefer of good optinos.

that the acrimony is flying.
