How will military recruitment do with Hillary as CIC?

While I dislike fundie right wingers, it seems to me they definitely volunteer in larger numbers than other parts of our population.

I can't see these types wanting to volunteer with Hillary as CIC.

She is much more hawkish than Edwards or Obama and I fear she will have greater demands on our military than they would, but I don't see her Presidency attracting many volunteers.

Will she need to draft to man our military?

And even if we consider Bush an idiot, he still has these fundie types willing to sacrifice.

I don't see Hillary having any constituency like that and I do see her grating upon the traditional types who join.

Of course if she wants to focus on illegal aliens, then maybe we have a chance.

there have been a series of comments to that effect over the last year - google may bring them up or you may have to use Lexis to do a word search on Washington Post articles if you want to read the comments. Indeed she is a Colin believer in planning the exit before you go in with overwhelming force.
