I don't swoon over politicians because I'm not some teeny bopper or cultist. Edwards is a politician with considerable flaws, as are the others. You seem to idolize instead of analyze. I don't.

hassle every Edwards supporter or supported thread! Why not just talk about the good things you like about YOUR candidate? I don't know who that is, but I see you've posted negative things at almost EVERY single Edwards thread. I may have missed a few here or there, but you're just NOT nice, and FWIW kind of like a "Nattering Nabob" or something. I don't like calling names, but you ARE getting tiresome.

I have a real problem with Edwards repeated apologizing.

20. Yes, it's good to be capable of apologizing
For a politician, it's even better to have the good judgment not to vote for and cheerlead a war that's killed hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. Somehow an apology over that- particularly in light of the fact that he defended his vote for three years.

Obama continues providing supplies to the troops because under Bush's reign they will not come home. What would you like for him to do, vote to not provide supplies and be negligent and kill even more of our soliders?

Edwards co-consponsored the IWR. He has repeatedly been on the wrong side of the issues, then he has apologized. That's not good enough for me. Our candidate needs to have vision, his actions need to match up with his rheotoric.

28. Obama votes like Kennedy
and Feingold and other liberals on spending. In other words, he votes for all legislation mandating an end to the war, but has voted to fund the troops while they're there. Yes, I'd rather he didn't, but it is nowhere near the egregious error of judgment that Hillary and JE made.

Case not nearly closed. Edwards doesn't get a pass just because you like him.

just saying..i have a problem of people like little lord pissy pants and hillary who will not admit ever that they were wrong..and people are dead because they were wrong..

one can not fix their mistakes unless they admit they were wrong..


its why we have erasers on pencils.

and why we confess to our god..and apologize to our family for mistakes we make..we acknowledge our mistakes ..so we do not commit the same mistakes again.

come back to haunt him. Did I hear correctly? Did he deny talking to him when asked at the debate? Seems like he did at first - then described a conversation that sounded as if he had, in fact, spoken to him.

Regardless, I'll allow Edwards this one mis-step (and it's a big one IMO) and still support him as my #1 choice.
