Let the trashing of Leahy reach full volume Don't forget any of the terrible things he's done: voted for war- oops that's right he didn't. voted for all the Iraq funding- oops not all of it. didn't subpoena Rove and Bolton, didn't strip telecom immunity- oh right he did those things. Here: He voted for Roberts and he voted for the moveon resolution. But sorry, he's been rated as one of the most liberal/progressive Senators for decades,

1. There have already been a bunch of threads about Leahy's endorsement.
I haven't seen a lot of animosity, though I admit I haven't read all of the comments.

5. Leahy a corporate hack? WTF are you smoking?
Leahy's one of the most liberal Senators we've got.

6. bwahahahaha
Leahy is the 96th wealthiest Senator and takes very little Corporate money. He has not profited at all from his 34 years in the Senate. No fat cat and he almost always votes AGAINST corporate interests. He's the author of the the War Profiteering Prevention Act, was responsible for stripping immunity for the telecoms, and has some of the WORST ratings in Congress from business friendly groups.

To say your whimpering puppy won't hunt, is putting it mildly.

8. I've also heard from reliable sources that
Bernie will endorse Barack- though that was a couple of months ago. I knew Pat wouldn't endorse Hillary.

11. Wow! I don't see anyone "losing respect" or spouting off RW talking points, or name calling
viritol that was directed at the other "big" endorsement. :sarcasm: Go figure.
